When to use it
We use the Present Indicative to:

1. Talk about habitual actions in the present  
  • Bebo un vaso de vino cada noche con la cena. (I drink a glass of wine each night with dinner.)
  • ¿Por qué comes tanta comida chatarra? (Why do you eat so much junk food?)

2. State a fact
  • ¿Crees en Dios? (Do you believe in God?)
  • Aprendemos mucho en la escuela. (We learn a lot in school.)

3. State something what will happen in the near future (normally used with an expression of time)
  • Respondo a su e-mail mañana. (I'll answer his e-mail tomorrow.)
